Marriott Kathmandu has announced a culinary collaboration with Chef Kamran Khan, the acclaimed Indian Chef De Cuisine from Marriott Hyderabad, for the eagerly awaited Hyderabadi Food Festival. This epicurean adventure is scheduled from September 15th to 24th, 2023, with festivities commencing from 18:30 Hrs. and winding down at 22:00 Hrs. each evening at the hotel.
Chef Kamran Khan, renowned for his culinary mastery at Marriott Hyderabad's premier Indian specialty restaurant, Bidri, that embraces the regal flavours of the Riyasati Kitchens, is all set to captivate Kathmandu. Diners can look forward to an array of iconic dishes, including the famed Hyderabadi Biryani, Bidri Haas Haleem, Sub Nizami Handi, Bangara Baigan and luscious desserts like Khubani Ka Meetha, Shahi Tukda, Sheer Khurma and Gile-e-Firdous (rice kheer), to name a few.
In addition to the culinary spectacle, the ambiance at Marriott Kathmandu will be transformed to evoke the majestic charm of Hyderabad, complete with authentic d�cor and mellifluous Hindi musical renditions to accompany the feast.

About Chef de Cuisine Kamran Khan
Chef Kamran has recently been appointed as Chef De Cuisine for Bidri at Hyderabad Marriott Hotel & Convention Centre. With over eighteen years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kamran is an energetic culinary professional with a blend of creativity, passion for food and exceptional cooking skills. Kamran has worked as a dynamic leader with numerous brands including Marriott, ITC Group of Hotels and Taj Group of Hotels.
Hailing from Agra, Kamran completed his diploma in food production from Food craft Institute, Aligarh in 2003-2004.
In his previous role, Kamran worked at Taj Hotel & Convention Centre Agra as Sous Chef. With is expertise, Kamran has successfully managed a large kitchen team and maintained and delivered high standards of taste and quality.
In his new role at Marriott Hyderabad, Kamraan will be handling the entire operations at Bidri and curating elaborate delicacies incorporating his signature style of flavours. Kamran will bring authentic Indian cuisine of the Riyasats from the Andhra, Hyderabad, Kashmir, Punjab and Lucknow, making it a blissful experience for gourmands.
