I rapidly attune to the lavish lifestyle and humble pleasures � sitting with a book in the ultra-soaking bathtub in my room or having chilled Thai Beer at the Club Lounge, the access of which is included with our Serenity Club room� � absolute happiness to relax in such fashion.
LOCATION
A lady garbed in cheerful silk plays a khim, a Thai dulcimer, in the warm rich bronze and gold hues stylish furnished Lobby. The below restaurant Romsai is attached by a quaint jungle-scape complete with waterfalls, grips your attention instantly and beckons you to stop by for a drink before you actually head up to your room. After checking in on the ground floor, you ascend up to your room at this sixty one storey hotel. Located on South Sathon Road in the financial district, it serves as a tranquil oasis in the busy downtown district. I particularly appreciate the complimentary tuk tuk service to the nearest MRT or BTS station. My Serenity Club Room in the impossibly slender tower has a sweeping view of the city. A small living area with a couch and desk leads me into a spacious bedroom with an attached bathroom, flawless to linger without feeling cramped. The generous use of native woods in everything from the large desks to the walk-in closets gives it that perfect warm glow. Each night there is a different little present at turn down. This was such a special touch. With double sliding doors, I virtually fell head over heels with the magnitude of the bathroom. There are two elegant black granite sinks (no sharing needed with mommy!), and�the Banyan Tree signature essential oil diffuser with scents changing daily replete with a menu that explains the scent and its health benefits. The Banyan Tree toiletry range sniffs and caresses astounding on the skin, with jasmine as a primary scent in everything I use. With my�lushly soft seaweed print slippers on, I�am an unquestionably convert to this zen-like experience.

A copiously armed spa offers the newest treatments, and a sundeck on the 53rd floor gestures with a soothing whirlpool.�Candlelight, peaceful sounds and soothing scents fill the air. I begin with the steam room, allowing the gentle warmth to calm my mind and body. Along with the standard spa fare, this spot is greatly influenced by Thai traditions, with their Thai ambience, staff and treatments. On offer is a complete range of relaxing, rejuvenating, and holistic treatments administered by skilled therapists. With a plethora of options it can be rather tough to decide on what kind of spa experience to opt for, I go for the Balinese massage.

Head to Saffron to taste Nouvelle Thai dishes, or spend an evening with a loved one cruising the Chao Phraya River on the river cruise ship Apsara Dining.� From first-rate dim sum lunches at Bai Yun, and fresh seafood at Pier 59, to the quietude of genuine Japanese with sushi bar, yakitori and Teppanyaki stations at Taihei, The Banyan Tree Bangkok provides a truly elevating experience.

Very refined Thai cuisine, interestingly the menu is one of its kinds and offers a range of flavours and dishes, the use of a broader range of seasoning leads to multiple flavours, textures and tastes in a single dish. Exciting menus revisit classics and also present�captivating less famous dishes.� The food is refined, with the Chef integrating the multitude of aromatic spices to a tangy, sweet, spicy and savoury whole. Stir-fried morning glory with garlic and soya sauce is delicious. The vegetables are cooked just right and maintain a touch of crunchiness, and the use of soya sauce is not too overpowering. What�s Thai food without curry? Go for the southern yellow curry, you will love its high�coconut milk�content and spiciness. The one here with fish certainly doesn�t disappoint and is in fact, the�best rendition�I had yet.
MOST POPULAR BAR IN THE CITY
The brand new Vertigo Too bids an awe-inspiring bar experience on the 60th floor. I found myself under a canopy of lights in this indoor bar and just loved the arched ceiling above. As I relax on the lush recliners I feast my eyes to the stunning views of Bangkok cityscape and the Chao Phraya River. Ordering drinks is a blend of showbiz and creativity as the mixologist creates a tailored experience from his cocktail trolley, while the cosmopolitan cuisine and live music auxiliary add fascination to the senses for an extraordinary night out

It was an amazing experience being at one of the highest al fresco rooftop restaurant and bars in Bangkok and I was completely�enthralled by the views. Located on 61st floor, Vertigo & Moon Bar comes alive at sunset for an outstanding view of the Thai capital. The service is impeccable! We are given enormous menus with little torches to be able to read what�s on offer! Ordering the meal is easy with recommendations from the waiters. As we wait for our food we dig into the fresh, warm bread and rkling champagne. For its renowned hospitality in the skies and engineered seclusion from city noise, it isn�t a wonder that Vertigo has won a number of worldwide awards. The restaurant is open daily from 6pm to 10: 30 pm for dinner.
