Kathmandu� To showcase and encourage women and home cooks, Soaltee Crowne Plaza is organizing a Parsi Food Festival in featuring recipes shared by Tasneem Shahani at their signature India restaurant Kakori. The food fest hopes to attempt recreations of various recipes handed over at home from generation to generation.
Parsi food originates from the ancient Persians who were renowned for their lavish cuisines and never-ending fascination with the exotic.
Soaltee Crowne Plaza brings you wonderful Parsi food shared by Tasneem Shahani from her mother-in-law and mothers repertoire, under Celebrating Women and the Home.
The Parsis have beautifully integrated in the Indian societies and have introduced its sublime�cuisine�to various parts of the country. Their dishes use up a lot of local�ingredients�and spices to create unique flavours.
Iconic Parsi delights like The Dhansak, Patrani Macchi, Chicken Farcha and more have found flavours with the ever-evolving global food lover. These are a few of the extensive selection of Parsi delights being offered by the hotel.
Tasneem Shahani will be weaving in the flavours of these centuries-old Parsi dishes, tying them together with rich taste, aroma and textures.

The food festival is being held from 25 July until 3 August, 2019.
The event features an a la carte menu and starts every day for dinner service from 7 pm.
