The annual tradition of cake mixing was once again celebrated by Hotel Shangri-La, Kathmandu with the hotel's Executive Chef, Vikram Kumar, and his team put on a wonderful assortment of various nuts and spices for the cake mixing ceremony.
This year, guests included personalities from the travel industry and the corporate world as well as former Miss Nepal winners.
The cake mixing ceremony mixes various ingredients with spices and alcohol which will be stored until Christmas day to prepare the traditional plum cakes.
On Christmas Eve, this mixture will be blended with cake batter to make cakes, cookies, bread, mince pie and much more.
