The blend of Chardonnay and Colombard gives the blend a unique flavor. The Chardonnay more than almost any other grape responds to different climatic conditions and to the winemakers art. This, plus the relative ease with which it can be grown, accounts for the marked gradation of flavors and styles, from steely, cool climate austerity to almost tropical lusciousness.
Sight/ Appearance
Clear on the sight with pale straw color and sparkling tone gives a refreshing appeal at the first sight itself.
Nose
Clean on the nose with medium intensity, feels like the wine is still developing. First nose is of caramel denoting a little sugar has been added to the wine. Lifted fruit salad and citrus aromas with a light oak influence can be noticed. A lemony feel gives this wine a distinct refreshing feature.
Lots of citrusy notes along with green grass, green fruits and minerality are found.
Palate
The palate shows fresh fruit flavors of white peach, citrus and pineapple, with some delicate oak complexity. It has a soft palate with balanced acidity.
Finish
Quite a lengthy finish with some oaky delicate aromas.
