Kathmandu�Fairfield by Marriot, Kathmandu, inaugurated their 9-day long Lucknowi Food Festival on 14th June, 2019 with the presence of His Excellency Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal.
His Excellency Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Nepal inaugurated the event along with Dr. Ajay Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India to Kathmandu along with the hotel�s owner and Manager Mr. Sashi Kant Agarwal Mr. Sanjeev Mandal respectively.
The festival promises to introduce Lucknowi cuisine to our distinguished guests through collaboration with celebrity Chef Shahnawaz Qureshi of Lucknow with more than 20 years of culinary experience. The cuisine of Nawabs contains varieties of kebabs, biryanis, curries, flat breads and much more, with delicate touch of Awadh.
The menu for the event has been exclusively crafted by Chef Shahnawaz, and will comprise of different varieties of local Lucknowi delicacies over the period of 9 days.
Lucknow has rich cultural and historical background, which can be thoroughly experienced through their food. The part of what makes the delicacies so enriching are the local spices used by Chef Shahnawaz, which was brought in from Lucknow itself.
Furthermore, this endeavor of Fairfield Kathmandu is to share that authentic experience with the food lovers of Kathmandu, where they can relax after the long day; while indulging and experiencing a culture of Lucknow.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, food enthusiasts and media personnel.
The food lovers of Kathmandu will be able to enjoy the festival until 22nd June, 2019. Priced at Rs. 2,299 Nett. The buffet starts at 6.30 pm and ends at 10.30 pm everyday with unlimited house beverages as well.
