Patan-�Ford Present's Namaste Eid 2018, an event displaying the vibrant culture and heritage of the Muslim Community in Nepal was held yesterday at Labim Mall. The event sought to promote interfaith harmony, understanding, friendship and multiculturalism for people of all backgrounds.
The multicultural event welcomed hundreds of people and provided a platform to strengthen and unite local communities by celebrating and sharing the essence of Eid.

Various food stalls from different halal outlets, clothing outlets initiated by Muslim youths, and other stores that were presented by the thirty-one different celebration partners were on hand to showcase their products.
The one day event also provided live musical performances and also helped families and small business owners to introduce, exhibit and sell their products. A hijab fashion show was also on display for the people that had gathered to be a part of the event.
This is the 2nd event of such nature with the previous being held in 2017 which was widely acclaimed.
