Kathmandu Marriott Hotel celebrated its first Christmas on December 25 as guests from the hotel, the hotel staff, and media personnel participated in an afternoon of celebrations. Keeping in tune with the Christmas spirit, the hotel lit the Christmas tree on December 7 and celebrated an elaborate Christmas Day with a live Christmas carol and various other attractions for the guests. The main attraction for the guests however was the Santa Claus who descended from the ninth floor of the hotel to greet the guests. Guests were also treated to a widespread of delicacies and a magic show for the guests' entertainment was present too. Kathmandu Marriott opened in 2019 and has been listed as a 5-star establishment and has been striving to push the standards of hospitality ever since.
