This blended wine from Leopard�s Leap has 70% Chenin Blanc and 30% Chardonnay. This new world wine is crisp, fruit driven light bodied wine. Tropical fruit flavors with subtle lime aroma makes it a very appealing wine. Sight/ Appearance This blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay looks clear on appearance with lemon green hues. Medium intensity can be observed. Nose The wine is clean on the nose with medium minus intensity. Abundant citrus, melon and vegetal aroma is found. This wine seems youthful with additional aromas of apples, unripe fruits and even blossom. The aromas of tropical fruit is well supported by elegant apricot and pineapple bouquet. Palate It is a dry wine with medium acidity. The alcohol is also on the medium side. This is a medium bodied wine with flavors of green apple, pear, melons and pineapple. Soft layers of grapefruit and lime, ending off with fresh, zesty vibrancy. Flavor intensity is medium side. A kick of Almond on the palate makes it beautiful to drink.
