Kathmandu�Hyatt Regency Kathmandu is hosting the Sichuan Food Festival from 16 to 25 August, 2019 at The Caf�. Chef Yam Bahadur Chhetri, who has an expertise of more than 13 years in Chinese cuisine, brings his passion to Kathmandu to give diners a sizzling taste of the Sichuan cuisine. Sichuan cuisine has gained popularity around the world due to its diverse flavors, cooking methods and abundance usage of hot peppers. The 10-day long promotion will guarantee guests a chance to savor the unique taste that the Sichuan cuisine has to offer. Signature dishes like tomato and egg drop soup, glass noodle Chinese salad, grilled chicken with asparagus in Sriracha sauce, wok tossed corn with black pepper,�� crispy congee lamb, and butter chili garlic noodles will be on offer for the guests.   Likewise dishes such as the stuffed shitake mushroom in 5 spice sauce, stir fried Chinese green tofu, prawn in xo sauce, Sichuan chicken, to name a few, will be spread over an enhanced buffet dinner. Diners can complete their Sichuan dining experience with a tantalizing taste of baked apple cup, honey date wanton, banana cake roll, lychee ginger cream, steamed coconut custard to name a few.   Guests can enjoy the Sichuan cuisine for dinner from 6.30pm until 10 pm for a price of NPR 2200 plus taxes per person.
