Kathmandu� Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza held its annual cake mixing on the 14th of November 2018. The event saw various fruits and nuts soaked in a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that will be later baked into a Christmas cake.
Several invited guests came together to join in on the fun and held make the celebration a success.
Cake mixing dates back to the 17th century where it marked the arrival of the harvest season. During this time lots of fruits and nuts were harvested and prepared to go into the making of the traditional plum cake.
