Kathmandu�Avid lovers of food can experience a culinary delight at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu�s South Indian food promotion event. The ten-day long event will be held at the hotel�s all-day dining restaurant The Caf� from 3 - 12 May 2019. Leading the culinary team will be Chef Arun Prasad, who spent a month exploring the South Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Telangana and personally handpicked all the ingredients to provide the diners with a sumptuous dining experience. The chef and his team have masterfully recreated the authentic tastes from the Southern Indian states that is sure to intrigue the diners. Diners can experience dishes like the Chinna Urali Vendhiya Keerai Peratal (baby potatoes tossed with fenugreek, onion, tomato and curry leaves), Chappa Pulusu (fish cooked in the Andhra style) and Chemeen Polichathu (slow-coo ked prawns in a tangy and spicy coconut sauce wrapped in banana leaf) which is a signature dish from the state of Kerala. Diners can also choose from Thalappa Kattu chicken biryani (traditional Tamil Nadu style chicken), Dhanedar Shunti (hand-pounded spiced lamb meatballs), Malabar Paratha (Kerala-style layered Indian flour bread) and Elaneer Paysam (a tender coconut pudding) to name a few. Besides the mentioned dishes, the hotel is also offering a South Indian Thali for lunch and an unlimited buffet dinner in the evening. Lunch services will be available from 12.30 pm � 3 pm for a price of NPR 1,100 ++ per person, which includes the South Indian Thali. Dinner services will be available from 6.30 pm � 10 pm for a price of NPR 2,400 ++ per person, which includes an unlimited buffet dinner
