Kathmandu� Fairfield by Marriott, Kathmandu is hosting a South Indian Food Festival that is offering guests authentic food from the coastal state of Southern India.
His Excellency Mr. Manjeev Singh Puri, Ambassador of India to Kathmandu inaugurated the event along with the hotel�s owner Mr. Sashi Kant Agarwal. The Indian Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Kathmandu also put together a short performance by its students and artists during the inauguration.
The ten day long festival will be led by guest Chef Thirumal Mohan, exclusive from Marriott Whitefield Bangalore, India. The menu has been exclusively crafted by chef Thirumal and the culinary team at the hotel. The food on offer is inspired by five states in India�Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
This is the fourth such food festival in the calendar year organized by the team at Fairfield by Marriott.
With a price of Rs.2199 per person, guests can enjoy a wide range of dishes such as biryanis and squid in the buffet and unlimited house beverages.
The festival started on the 23rd of November and will conclude on the 2nd of December 2018.
