The Royal Thai Embassy hosted its annual Thai Festival on Saturday, 28 September at the premises of Shangri-La Hotel. The festival also helped to mark the 60 years of diplomatic relations and foster friendship between the two countries. �The two countries have a long history of mutual understanding and friendship. We hope the two countries continue to work together to grow and promote each other�, a spokesperson from the Royal Thai Embassy said. Thai festival aims to promote Thainess as well as Thai culture, products and tourism. Visitors were also able to buy many thai products at a specially discounted price. The festival included a cultural performance, food stalls, Thai products and a lucky draw raffle to win various prizes that included a round-trip ticket to Thailand from Thai Airways International.
