Kathmandu -�His Excellency Mr. Bhakavat Tansku, Ambassador of Royal Thai Embassy to Nepal and Mr. Sanjeev Mandal, the General Manager of Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu, officially inaugurated the Thai Food Festival after the traditional lighting of the lamp ceremony at Kava restaurant in the hotel�s premises. The inaugural function featured various performances by Tourism Authority of Thailand who put together a string of cultural performances its students. Guest Chef Chef Kroongtana Nimnu has been specially brought in from Thailand for the duration of the event to deliver the authentic flavors of Thai cuisine. The buffet features dishes like Tom Yum Goong, Kao Na Phet, Gaeng Keow Wan Kai amongst many others. A price of Rs. 2199 net per person will be charged which offers a buffet and unlimited beverages. The ten day event will start at 6.30 pm everyday till 10.30 pm and will conclude on the 9th of October.
