Kathmandu� The first leg of the Carlsberg Golf Series 2019 concluded, with Carlsberg adding its unique touch to one of the esteemed golfing events of the country. The series tournament saw the country�s top amateur golfers out at the highest level of competition, all for their love of golf. The tournament was opened as a platform to amateur golfers from across the nation having a valid handicap with their home clubs.
Ajay B Shah accumulated 43 points to secure top spot to become the Nett Winner of the first series. Prithvi Mall finished as the Gross Winner with 35 gross points. Shyam Simkhada was the Nett Runner-up with 41 Points and Tashi Tshiring was the Gross Runner-up with 34 Gross Points.
Among the ladies, Hye Min was the winner with 35 points with Kashmira Shah as runner-up with 34 points. On the senior category for ages 60 and above, Bijay B Shrestha was the winner on the count back with 37 Points and Cheol Ho Kim Finished runner-up with 37 Points.
Mithun Rai Bagged the most birdies with 3 birdies and 1 eagle. Surendra Phuyal & Jigmay Dongstetsang got longest drive and closest to the pin respectively.

The tournament followed a stableford format with � handicap over 18 holes and 96 golfers took part in the event.
